Includes 6 letters received from William Henry Jackson regarding his research for the Oregon Trail Memorial Association between July 20, 1929-August 19, 1929. The correspondence discusses his trip to Detroit to meet Henry Ford, Ezra's Meeker's belongings at the Henry Ford Museum, his travels following the Mormon trails near Winterset, Iowa and a trip to Jackson, Wyoming where he attended the dedication of the Teton National Park and investigated the Lander and Sublette "cut offs." Traveled to Idaho and located the site of Fort Hall.
